Winner: Zach LaVine

It is about time Zach LaVine is getting the recognition he deserves! After averaging over 25 points per game last season, LaVine was left off the All-Star roster because the Bulls were a terrible team.

Now this year, since they are contending for a playoff spot and since LaVine is even better this season, the league finally voted him into the All-Star game and he will be making his first All-Star appearance of his career. We talked about Devin Booker being one of the most underappreciated players in the league, but Zach LaVine is right up there too because he is often times overlooked since the Bulls are not a top team in the East.

Not only does he rank 7th in the league in scoring this year, but Zach LaVine also ranks 1st amongst all shooting guards in the league in field goal percentage. He takes about 20 shots per game this year and is shooting over 50% from the floor, which is ridiculous.

LaVine is currently shooting 51.8% from the floor, 43.4% from three-point range and is shooting 86.4% from the free-throw line. By the end of the season, he has a very good shot at joining the illustrious “50-40-90” club, which would be a huge career accomplishment.

Being named an All-Star this season is a huge honor for Zach LaVine, but it is definitely not the last time we will see him in the All-Star game. At 25-years old, we can expect to see LaVine continue to elevate his game and continue to grow into one of the most dominant offensive-weapons in the league.
