Does This Trade Make Sense For The Washington Wizards?
If Bradley Bal truly wants out of Washington, then the Wizards should absolutely make this trade. Not only can Andrew Wiggins be a really solid player next to Russell Westbrook, but James Wiseman has superstar written all over him.
With Thomas Bryant being out for the year with a torn ACL, not only could Wiseman become the Wizards’ starting center, but he could play 30+ minutes per night and turn into one of the best young players in the league today.
Wiseman is this talented and with a facilitator and passer like Westbrook, the young center could quickly become their second-best player and an emerging superstar. Whether it is knocking down a perimeter shot, catching a lob at the rim or blocking a shot on the other end of the court, James Wiseman has all the talent and potential to be a really good player for many years to come.
Not to mention, Minnesota’s first-round pick in 2021 is extremely valuable and one of the most valuable draft picks for 2021. The Timberwolves are currently in last place in the league, meaning they would retain this first-round pick and offer up a future first-round pick instead, but if Minnesota could win some games later on in the season, the Wizards could be left with a Top-10 pick in the NBA Draft, along with their own pick.

Not only could this be huge for them in terms of building a young, stable core, but they would have Westbrook, Wiggins, Wiseman and other young talents like Deni Avdija, Troy Brown Jr, and Rui Hachmiura to turn themselves into legit contenders in the Eastern Conference.
The Wizards should do everything they can to keep Bradley Beal, but if he wants out, then trading him to Golden State could be the best move this franchise could make. They have the trade assets Washington would want and the Wizards could immediately turn themselves into something special with this trade.
