Golden State Warriors Receive: G Bradley Beal, G Jerome Robinson
Washington Wizards Receive: F Andrew Wiggins, C James Wiseman, MIN 2021 1st Round pick (Top-3 Protected)
After acquiring Russell Westbrook before the season began, many expected the Washington Wizards to be a dangerous team in the Eastern Conference, but they have been quite the opposite. They have been better as of late, winning five of their last six games, but the Wizards are still just 11-18 and have struggled a lot this year.
Bradley Beal’s frustrations can visibly be seen at times and if they continue to look like a non-playoff team by the trade deadline, he could request to be traded elsewhere. If Beal does become available, the Warriors should do everything they can to trade for him to create one of the most dangerous shooting teams in NBA history.
So far this year, Beal is averaging 32.7 points (league-high), 5.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.4 steals and is shooting 48% from the floor. He was voted in as a nAll-Star starter this year and has cemented himself as one of the best players in the league today.
While getting Bradley Beal gives the Warriors the top two scorers in the league this season, they would have to give up quite a bit in this trade package. Andrew Wiggins has the potential to be a great two-way player when this team is fully healthy, Thompson included, James Wiseman has the potential to be one of the best centers in the league in time and the 2021 first-round pick from Minnesota could end up being a high lottery pick this season.

Those are three high-level talents the Warriors would have to trade for Bradley Beal, which is something they would really have to think twice about doing. Beal is exactly the kind of player the Warriors need to be a legit title contender this season, but this move could have a major impact on this organization’s future.
There are things to like about both sides of this trade, so now, let’s take a closer look as to if this trae truly makes sense for both the Golden State Warriors and the Washington Wizards.
