The Houston Rockets have been cleaning house since the offseason and at this season’s NBA trade deadline, they could look to continue doing the same. Everyone seems to be available for the right price and PJ Tucker is a veteran talent who could be moved sooner than later. He has emerged as one of the top names to watch in NBA trade rumors.

PJ Tucker is now in his 10th season in the NBA and is turning 36-years old this year. The veteran is in the final years of his career and with him being in the final year of his contract, numerous championship teams could be looking to add the versatile forward.

With Houston’s front-office saying they want to get younger, it would make a lot of sense for them to cut ties with Tucker now, but the question that remains is what are they looking for in a trade involving him? Do they want young talents or do they want draft picks?

It is really unknown what kind of value PJ Tucker has on the trade market right now because he has not played all that well, but still has a good amount of value to his name because of all the intangibles he can do for a team on the court. He will not stuff the stat sheets or score a lot of points, but Tucker does all of the little things to help his team win games.

At this point, the Rockets need to realize that they have no shot at keeping this team as a playoff contender and as a result, need to do everything they can to gain assets now to build for the future. While they may not have many draft picks to offer up, the Milwaukee Bucks could be a trade partner for the Rockets because of the young players they could offer up to acquire PJ Tucker.

Could the Milwaukee Bucks look to add even more talent to their roster by acquiring PJ Tucker? Let’s take a look at the best trade the Bucks could offer the Houston Rockets for the veteran.
