Terrence Ross – Orlando Magic
So far this season, the Orlando Magic have really struggled because of all of the injuries this organization has faced. Both of their point guards have gone down with injuries, Johnathan Isaac is out with a torn ACL and Aaron Gordon is still sidelined with an ankle injury. As a result Nikola Vucevic has put together an All-Star resume, but Terrence Ross has turned himself into a highly sought out trade target around the league.
Terrence Ross joined the Orlando Magic during the 2016-17 season and since then, he has averaged 13.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and has shot 36.4% from three-point range. This season, Ross is averaging 15.7 points per game and currently ranks 2nd in the league in total points by a player off-the-bench.
With Reggie Bullock being this team’s starting small forward, the Knicks could easily have Ross in their starting rotation, or utilize him in their second rotation. Either way, he can be a high-impact offensive player for the Knicks and ultimately be their third best scoring option next to Randle and Barrett.
The Knicks currently have the 5th best scoring bench in the NBA and adding Terrence Ross to the equation only makes them better. This team already has 6 players averaging in double-digit scoring, which is another reason why Ross could have a big impact with the Knicks.

Adding Terrence Ross to this roster makes the Knicks even harder to guard and gives them another player who can create for themselves. Out of the 6 players averaging double-digit scoring for New York, only Randle and Barrett are reliable scorers, which is why Terrence Ross would be a huge addition for this team.
He is an experienced, veteran talent that can not only contribute to this team on the court, but be a great locker room player as well. Ross could be just the player the Knicks need and they could even get him at a really good price before the NBA trade deadline given the Magic’s struggles.
