This Knicks-Wizards trade is centered on All-Star starter Bradley Beal

The New York Knicks are off to a surprising start this season and this could lead them to make a deal at the NBA trade deadline. Through the first third of the season, the Knicks are in the playoff reason the Eastern Conference. This is something that we did not expect to be saying and the team would like to stay in that position.

The Knicks are being led by Julius Randle, who is off to an all-star caliber start. He has taken his game on both ends of the floor and from the three-point line to the next level. Head coach Tom Thibodeau is the reason for the next turn around and it is happening on the defensive end.

The Knicks currently lead the league allowing just 103.6 points per game. RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley are beginning to come into their own and all of a sudden, the Knicks have a core to build around.

This is a position they know all too well. They acquired Russell Westbrook in the offseason when Wall was sent to Houston but that has not helped much so far. Beal would be a big-time trade piece if Washington were to pull the trigger.

New York would be an interesting landing spot for Beal. Here is a potential package that could land him in the Big Apple this season.
