Why This Trade Makes Sense For The Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are on the other end of the spectrum than the Los Angeles Lakers. They paid Domantas Sabonis and has since turned into an All-Star talent right before their eyes. Due to the fact that Sabonis is in the frontcourt, it gives them some freedom to explore trade for Myles Turner.

The Pacers have made it clear that Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon are their future. Victor Oladipo was sent away and Myles Turner could be next. In return, Indiana would get Montrezl Harrell, who is a bulldog down low and would slot in behind Sabonis on the depth chart.

Indiana would also land Kyle Kuzma, who signed an extension with the Lakers in the offseason. He has shown improvement defensively and could start alongside Domantas Sabonis out on the perimeter. This would give the Pacers a four-out offense.

Kyle Kuzma is a player who can get hot at any moment but has been a very inconsistent over the course of his career. He would give them another scoring threat on the perimeter.

Indiana has been extremely mediocre in the Eastern Conference. They are a middle of the pack team with no threat of winning a championship. This could change if the front office makes a couple good moves in the future. Choosing an identity and sticking to it is step one.
