Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls are in a heated playoff race in the NBA’s Eastern Conference and they will likely look to be buyers at the NBA trade deadline in hopes of bringing in the necessary talent for a playoff push.
The Bulls need depth at the forward position and Blake Griffin could be their guy.. Zach LaVine needs to see that Chicago means business when it comes to adding talent in the supporting cast. Being able to bring in a key player like Blake Griffin could help to achieve that.
It has been a struggle for both Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter Jr. to stay healthy this season. Adding a veteran like Griffin could help to overcome some of the issues the team has faced in that department over the course of the back half of the season.
It remains unclear if Griffin would want to sign with a team that currently isn’t doing much better than the Detroit Pistons. He could play an important role in helping the Bulls to bridge the gap to being a playoff team in the Zach LaVine era.
