Not only can Danny Green and Shake Milton help contribute to the Kings playoff push now, but they are both solid three-point threats. Both guys are high-level perimeter threats and for a Kings team that ranks 15th in three-point shooting percentage, they could be great fits in Sacramento.
Danny Green is also in the final year of his contract with the 76ers, giving the Kings leverage in the offseason to have cap space to pursue another max-contract player to pair with De’Aaron Fox. Shake Milton and Terrance Ferguson are also young, dynamic players that coil have an impact in Sacramento moving forward.
This season, Shake Milton has emerged as one of the 76ers’ best bench players, averaging 14.0 points, 3.0 assists and shooting 45.2% from the floor in 21 games off-the-bench. While they do have Fox and Haliburton in the backcourt, Milton is a guard who is more than capable of playing off-the-ball and is a real threat to score anytime he has the ball in his hands.

While he has not played much in his young career, Terrance Ferguson is still just 22-years old and has a lot of potential to grow into a solid wing because of his athleticism. He possesses a lot of athleticism and still has a lot of untapped potential that the Kings could utilize on the wing in ways the 76ers cannot.
Unlike the Mavericks trade in which the draft picks they would receive were in the future, the draft assets the Kings receive from the 76ers in this trade are immediate. They would get a first-round pick and second-round pick for the 2021 NBA Draft, giving Sacramento the ability to gain more immediate young talent.
In terms of gaining young talent immediately, this trade with the 76ers is definitely the best for the Sacramento Kings if they were to trade Buddy Hield.
