Toronto Raptors Receive: Montrezl Harrell, Kentavous Caldwell-Pope

Norman Powell would improve the perimeter scoring capabilities for the Los Angeles Lakers immediately and take pressure off LeBron James. This is something that would go a long way in the team’s pursuit of winning another NBA championship.

Aron Baynes would join Powell as they attempt to contribute to one of the best teams in the league. With Anthony Davis sidelined for the next few seasons, adding a defensive contributor in the frontcourt would help. Los Angeles has plenty of assets that would be considered to be dealt in any deal the team tries to make.

In this particular trade, Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope would be sent away. This would benefit the Raptors in many ways moving forward this season by providing different styles of contributors to help reconfigure their supporting cast.
