Why This Trade Would Benefit The Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks have folded in the postseason in each of the last two years and this is why the front office went out to get Jrue Holiday. He is having a strong start scoring 16.4 points per game. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the clear No. 1 option on the team and will be for a long time but this is where the question of Khris Middleton comes up.

There are many that believe he is a third option on a championship team. The fact is, he is not being paid like one. Khris Middleton is owed roughly $145.5 million over the next four years. This is a hefty price tag for a player like Middleton. Giannis Antetokounmpo is having his typical season with 28 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.

The Bucks added the point guard to the equation and can continue to build around the Greek Freak in this deal. Donte DiVincenzo has turned into a solid starter and the Bucks would add two more starting caliber wings with Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr.

James Wiseman is another factor in this deal. He would bring depth and would have a chance to learn under one of the NBA’s best players. The Bucks would shed major cap while getting a huge return if they decided to trade Khris Middleton.
