This Bucks-Warriors trade is centered around Khris Middleton

This blockbuster deal between two teams expected to compete come postseason time could be centered around Khris Middleton. The Golden State Warriors could be looking for another piece on the perimeter and Middleton could be their guy. This means the Milwaukee Bucks would have to part ways with their NBA All-Star and land a huge return.

The Warriors are back. They were able to brush off some early-season inconsistencies and get the team on the right track. The Warriors are currently 15-13 and it is because of the play of Steph Curry. The former back-to-back MVP is scoring 30.1 points per game while shooting 43.6% from the three-point line.

As if this was not impressive enough coming off an injury, Steph Curry is going this all without Klay Thompson. He is out for the year after suffering a torn Achilles in the offseason. The NBA trade rumors might have quieted a bit now that the Warriors have turned it around but they could still look to shake things up.

The Bucks would be an intriguing trade partner. Milwaukee is currently second in the Eastern Conference at 16-11, just 1.5 games behind the Philadelphia 76ers. Milwaukee made a huge move when they signed Giannis Antetokounmpo to a five-year extension in the offseason. He is having his usual start to the season while Middleton is second on the Bucks in scoring. After making a trade for Jrue Holiday in the offseason, Milwaukee could look to be aggressive once again.

The Bucks would not be getting the big-name but landing a huge return for one. Here is what it might take to put Middleton in a Warriors’ uniform at the deadline.
