Julius Randle Is Still Only 26-Years-Old

Julius Randle playing at an All Star level isn’t the only appealing thing about the sixth year power forward. He is dominating the NBA and is doing so at the age of 26, meaning he still has room to continue to develop as an overall player.

Randle, a former No. 7 overall pick, has pretty much grown up as an NBA player since his time with the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans. He decided to bet on himself and committed to being part of the Knicks’ rebuilding efforts as a key leader.

The Knicks have spent no shortage of prime draft picks on players who ended up underachieving and quite frankly, never amounted to much of anything. The decision to sign Randle has helped to overshadow plenty of those poor draft choices.

Having youth and experience is something general managers drool over and Julius Randle has both. Randle is starting to emerge into a dominant power forward and he still has several years left before he taps into his full potential.
