Los Angeles Lakers Receive: George Hill, 2022 1st Round Pick (via PHX)
OKC Thunder Receive: Kyle Kuzma, Alfonzo McKinnie, Jared Dudley
The veteran player that would help the Los Angeles Lakers is George Hill. He does not fit into the future plans for the OKC Thunder and could be on the move soon. The NBA trade deadline will surely be when he gets moved to a contender.
If the Lakers are still looking to improve the backcourt, George Hill could be a nice veteran back up to Dennis Schroder. It could help the Lakers to strengthen their bench unit and adding a ‘3-and-D’ guard like Hill who can play alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis but also has playmaking ability makes sense.
The Lakers have assets to send back any begins with Kyle Kuzma. He signed a three-year extension the offseason but that does not mean that he is safe. Kuzma has been their biggest trade piece for years now but nothing has happened. Alfonzo McKinnie and Jared Dudley would also be on the move.
Let’s take a look and see how this trade centered around George Hill would benefit both the Los Angeles Lakers and OKC Thunder.
