Andrew Wiggins – Golden State Warriors

With Evan Fournier being in the final year of his contract and with Aaron Gordon never developing into a big-time offensive threat, the Magic could really use a highly-skilled wing to pair with Nikola Vucevic, which is why Andrew Wiggins makes a lot of sense for Orlando.

The former #1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft spent all of his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves before being dealt to the Golden State Warriors last season at the NBA trade deadline. Wiggins is a three-dimensional offensive-threat, but what makes him such a great fit with the Magic is the fact that he is a very strong defender as well.

Wiggins is not talked about enough for being one of the better two-way wings in the entire NBA and while the Warriors may not have plans to trade him right now, Orlando could be in play to potentially acquire the 25-year old wing next offseason.

With Orlando usually being an elite defensive team, Andrew Wiggins should have no problems adapting to their style of play and with them not having many consistent scorers on the offensive end of the court, he could step up into a bigger role next to Nikola Vucevic. For his career, Wiggins has averaged 19.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and has shot 44.2% from the floor, making him a very viable secondary-scorer for Orlando

With Evan Fournier being in the final year of his contract and Wiggins being a much better all-around player than him, it would make sense for Orlando to want to try and pursue a trade to bring Andrew Wiggins to the Magic. They have the cap space and could easily move a player like Aaron Gordon and some draft picks in order to acquire the former No. 1 overall pick.
