The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the best teams in the NBA, not just the Eastern Conference, to tip off the new season, and they need to add some help to the roster to compete as for as long as they can.
Joel Embiid is playing like an MVP candidate, Ben Simmons is a Defensive Player of the Year threat, and the 76ers have an impressive 18-9 record through 27 games. While Philadelphia is experiencing strong success to start the regular season, but they could use more firepower for the playoffs.
Obviously, trading for Bradley Beal isn’t going to just give you depth. Beal is one of the best shooting guards in the NBA and his presence would be felt mightily in Philadelphia. The 76ers need some help at the guard positions and adding Beal would solve those problems.
The Washington Wizards will look to avoid having to trade Bradley Beal at all costs and won’t until he outright demands it to be done. He hasn’t done that yet, but despite that fact, the 76ers should continue to monitor the situation and capitalize if things were to change. Given the Wizards’ struggles, it shouldn’t be ruled out.
Adding an All-Star player like Bradley Beal to the mix in Philadelphia would only the 76ers’ chances that much more. The Sixers are a very talented team with a boat load of potential, they just need one more piece to put it all together.
