This Pacers-Wizards trade pairs Myles Turner with Bradley Beal

As we get closer to the NBA trade deadline, the Washington Wizards are a team that has been featured in NBA trade rumors. This is because of Bradley Beal but he is not featured here. This is a team that could use help at every position and that is visible during the start of the season. The Indiana Pacers could have an intriguing defensive presence on the market for Washington to pursue.

Washington is 6-17 on the season and once against looking like one of the worst teams in the league. They were in the news during the offseason when they sent John Wall to Houston in return for Russell Westbrook. That didn’t solve their main weakness — defense.

So far, Westbrook is averaging 19.7 points, nine rebounds, and 8.9 assists in 15 games this season. It continues to seem likely that Beal could be dealt as we approach the deadline. Here, the Wizards would get a big man like Myles Turner to team up with Davis Bertans in the frontcourt.

The Pacers are once again a middle of the pack team in the Eastern Conference. This has been where they have been for years now. Domantas Sabonis has emerged as an all-star talent on the team along with Malcolm Brogdon.

With this recent emergence, Indiana could look to make another big trade. The Victor Oladipo drama ended soon after James Harden was sent to Houston. The Rockets quickly made a move for Oladipo and this took a big weight off the shoulders of Indiana. Myles Turner could be the next player on the move.

Myles Turner would solidify the frontcourt a bit in Washington. The Wizards just need to add some more good players in different situations and this is what this deal would accomplish.
