The Boston Celtics are a team that needs to add depth to their team in hopes of making a run at an NBA championship and they could acquire that depth by trading for Blake Griffin. With the loss of Gordon Hayward in the offseason, they could use another standout in the lineup.
It’s currently unknown what Griffin’s trade value will look like this year, but if it’s not too pricy the Celtics should look to snag the ten year veteran. Griffin would add some great depth to the Celtics’ back court and he could be a great mentor for the youth the Celtics have.
Griffin is very good at everything and his experience will help the Celtics attempt to claim a top spot in the Eastern Conference. He could help add rebounding and an impact in the Celtics’ offense as a roll man and post-up threat.
The Celtics need to add valuable experience to their roster and one of the best talents on the market could be Blake Griffin. If the Celtics add Blake Griffin they could be contending for an NBA Finals appearance this season.
