The NBA trade deadline is sure to be filled with pure joy and excitement as it always is and the league could see some huge names on the move to help some playoff teams contend for a title. One of those big names more than likely on the move is none other than Blake Griffin.
Griffin, a 31 year old power forward, has spent the past four seasons with the Detroit Pistons but could look to add some depth to another team this season. Griffin, despite having missed a step with age, is still a very productive power forward and could be the X factor for several contending playoff teams.
Griffin, this season, hasn’t had the best numbers; but age and injuries have dampened his potential. Through 19 games played, he averaged 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. Griffin has also shot 36.5 percent from the floor and 30.5 percent from beyond the arc.
While Blake Griffin may not be as appealing of a trade target as he used to be, he is still one of the best power forwards whose name is currently circulating in NBA trade rumors.
Here’s a look at three teams who should take a chance on Blake Griffin at the NBA trade deadline this season.
