This Kings-Suns trade features Harrison Barnes to Phoenix

As we get closer to the NBA trade deadline, watch out for the Phoenix Suns to be aggressive. This would continue the trend that they began in the offseason in hopes of making the playoffs. The Sacramento Kings could be the perfect trade partner because of the assets that they have available who have been featured in NBA trade rumors at times.

Phoenix finished just outside of the postseason a year ago and this made them look for a blockbuster deal. They found one in the form of Chris Paul with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The duo of Chris Paul and Devin Booker have the Suns playing good basketball early on. They are looking like a playoff team and the front office could look to make another move in order to solidify that notion. Sacramento could be one of the teams potentially selling at the NBA trade deadline.

We have heard Buddy Hield’s name mentioned many times in NBA trade rumors but he would be staying put in this one. Another sharpshooter in Glenn Robinson III would be on his way to Phoenix. This would give Chris Paul another option on the perimeter to set up.

Harrison Barnes is averaging 16.7 points per game this season, which is second on the Kings. At 28-years old, the Kings could look to take advantage of any value he has and get a potential return.

The Suns feel like they are ready to make a run toward the postseason. If that is true, watch out for deals like this one potentially getting done.
