Boston Celtics Receive: Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier

Orlando Magic Receive: Kemba Walker, Aaron Nesmith, 2021 1st Round Pick

Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier are having good seasons in Orlando. If the Magic decide to blow it up, they can take advantage of the value from these two players. The Celtics would welcome them with open arms because of their versatile skill-sets.

Fournier is currently playing on an expiring deal and it may be in his best interest to sign elsewhere if he wants to play for a contender. A trade to the Celtics would achieve that. Meanwhile, Gordon isn’t the long-term answer in the frontcourt with Jonathan Isaac set to return next NBA season.

The Magic would get immediate help at the point guard position with Kemba Walker. This would give them an all-star caliber guard to work with Vucevic. Aaron Nesmith and a first-round pick in year’s draft would also be going to Orlando.

Let’s take a look at how this NBA trade deadline scenario would benefit both the Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic.
