This Lakers-Pistons trade features Jerami Grant to Los Angeles

The Detroit Pistons were aggressive in the offseason adding some help in the frontcourt. Players like Jerami Grant and Mason Plumlee signed with the Pistons but it has not equaled success on the floor. Detroit recently sent Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks and the team might not be done with their deals as we approach the NBA trade deadline. The Los Angeles Lakers are a team to keep an eye on.

Jerami Grant is the big-name player that would be going to Los Angeles. He signed a three-year, $60 million deal with Detroit in the offseason and has quickly showed he is worth it. Grant is leading the Pistons with 24.3 points per game and is shooting 39.5% from three-point territory. This has not transferred to team success.

The Pistons are 6-18 on the season and looking like one of the worst teams in the league. Derrick Rose was a player that was featured in rumors and he was ultimately sent away. There is a chance that Grant, and potentially Blake Griffin, could be next.

The Lakers are an intriguing destination for Jerami Grant. They are already loaded in many ways as they look to win their second-straight championship. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are once again two of the top players in the game.

Dennis Schroder has been a welcomed addition at the point guard position scoring 14.6 points per game. Montrezl Harrell is right behind him with 13.5 a night off the bench. There are plenty of chances for the Lakers to be aggressive come the trade deadline.

Grant would bring a new dynamic to the Lakers. This would be an interesting fit and here is a deal that could get it done.
