Warriors Need A Talent Upgrade
The Golden State Warriors have been looking for a shooting guard to replace the injured Klay Thompson for their playoff run, but they have yet to find someone. The Warriors could look to bring in Victor Oladipo from the Houston Rockets to help with their playoff push.
Obviously a team wouldn’t look to go out and trade for an All-Star shooting guard unless they needed one, and the Warriors may have some of the biggest shoes to fill. Andrew Wiggins, Damion Lee, and Kent Bazemore have done a solid job filling in for Klay Thompson, but you can tell there’s a lack of All Star experience to line up alongside Steph Curry.
It has been a real struggle for Kelly Oubre Jr. to achieve consistency this season. He began the 2020-21 campaign on a very low not and has improved, but regardless, he remains a liability on defense while being an ill-fitting piece offensively.
If the Warriors were to trade for Victor Oladipo from the Rockets, they would add a key piece to snag minutes while Steph Curry was off the court and they would add a much needed wing piece for their playoff pursuit.
