Andre Drummond
The only true pressing need for the Toronto Raptors is some help at the center position. One player who is almost certainly going to be dealt this season is Andre Drummond from the Cleveland Cavaliers. This has been highlighted often in NBA trade rumors.
After losing Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol in free agency, the quality of play at the center position has diminished. Chris Boucher has shown some intriguing signs of potential but Drummond would provide a needed boost and as a proven talent.
Andre Drummond is one of the best and most well-rounded centers in the NBA, and the Raptors could bring him in and compete for an NBA championship. So far this season, he is averaging 17.9 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
Drummond, 27, has been having a very strong season with the Cavs and will likely take those talents to another team shortly. After adding Jarrett Allen, the Cavaliers have a long-term answer at center and it’s not Drummond.
