Terrence Ross Is A Legit Sixth-Man Of The Year Candidate

Over the years, Terrence Ross has slowly turned into a key bench player for the Orlando Magic and started this season as a legit Sixth-Man of the Year candidate. At this moment, Terrence Ross is currently second in the NBA in total points scored off the bench and trails just Jordan Clarkson, who is the clear frontrunner for Sixth-Man of the Year.

Ross has come off-the-bench in all 24 games for the Magic this year and has been one of the most consistent bench players in the entire NBA. He is currently third on the Orlando Magic in scoring this year and is one of the main reasons why they have been in a lot of games this year.

With the Pacers, Ross could continue being a “sixth-man” and be one of the best impact players they would have in their second-unit. Given the success Justin Holiday and Jeremy Lamb have had in the starting unit this year, having Ross come off-the-bench could give the Pacers more sustainability and success in their overall bench play.

Given Terrence Ross’ stats this year with the Magic, he would join the Pacers and be their fourth best scorer statistically, but he could end up being one of their go-to guys down the stretch in games. He would definitely be a part of their closing rotations with Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner and either Justin Holiday or Jeremy Lamb.

Having a reliable, veteran talent like Terrence Ross come off-the-bench and produce the way he has been is extremely valuable for any team in the NBA and for the Pacers, a team that has lost in the first-round of the playoffs for five straight years, Ross could make a big difference in them making a deep playoff push.
