This Heat-Wizards blockbuster trade features a Bradley Beal, Jimmy Butler swap

The Miami Heat are a team team that could be looking to make a big splash at the NBA trade deadline. They have been linked to some big-name players in the future but could choose not to wait after seeing how they started the season. This is where the Washington Wizards could come into play.

The Wizards are once again one of the worst teams in the NBA. During the offseason, he sent John Wall to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Russell Westbrook. He was brought into join Bradley Beal but the pairing has not worked yet.

It doesn’t matter how much Bradley Beal scores or makes plays offensively, the Wizards are the worst defensive team in the NBA. Washington simply lacks any semblance of rim protection and their on-ball defense on the perimeter is terrible. Winning will never happen until that changes.

The Miami Heat was hoping to land a player like Giannis Antetokounmpo in free agency next season but that dream was set aside when he signed an extension with the Milwaukee Bucks. Now, Miami could look for the big move now to turn their season around.

The Heat are off to a poor start this year and it is because of inconsistent play throughout the lineup. Jimmy Butler missed some time and is now back in the lineup, but Miami simply doesn’t look capable of turning things around. With Butler already being 31, could capitalizing on his trade value now be the better move?

If Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook are on the NBA trade market, expect Miami to be employed. Let’s take a look at what it might take to land both players in a Heat uniform.
