The Washington Wizards had plenty of optimism entering the NBA season about their ability to compete in the Eastern Conference. They made a big splash when they sent John Wall to the Houston Rockets in the offseason in exchange for Russell Westbrook.
The trade for Russell Westbrook was supposed to create one of the most exciting backcourts in the NBA but it has not worked out just yet. Washington is currently 5-14 and near the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
Bradley Beal is having an incredible individual season with 33.3 points per game and is getting it done from all over the floor. His body language has worsened in recent games and if he were to want out, it could force the hand of the Wizards.
For the Cavaliers, it has been their duo in the backcourt leading the way. Collin Sexton has taken the next step averaging 24 points per game this season. Darius Garland is scoring 15.2 points per game and is another guard coming into his own. In the frontcourt, Kevin Love has played just two games this season while Andre Drummond is averaging 18.1 and 14.3 rebounds per contest.
This trade would send the Cavaliers in the right direction. Here is what it might take to land Bradley Beal in Cleveland.
