Why This Trade Would Benefit The Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks gave the Los Angeles Clippers all they could handle during the postseason a year ago. This gave the team hope heading into the season but they have not looked right to begin the year. There have been rumors of the Mavericks having interest in adding another player and Graham could be that player.

Tim Hardaway Jr. has played well along the perimeter along with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. After that, the Mavericks could use some depth if they want to turn the season around. Graham would help improve the point guard position. He can handle the ball or play off if needed.

This move would open up the floor a bit more for Luka Doncic. This would directly impact Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kristaps Porzingis as well. The Mavericks could look to acquire a bigger name but the fit with Devonte’ Graham would help in many ways on both ends of the floor.
