When looking at the current make up of the Los Angeles Clippers, they are a team that is ready to win immediately. That is obvious with players Kawhi Leonard and Paul George leading the way. During the NBA postseason last year, the point guard position was a glaring issue.
Los Angeles did not address the problem in the offseason and entered with Patrick Beverley as the starter. They are off to a 17-6 start this season so it is not affecting them too much.
If Los Angeles looks to make an improvement at the position, it could happen at the NBA trade deadline. This will go along way in improving the team for a long playoff run. The Boston Celtics are a team to keep an eye on if you are looking for a veteran point guard.
Boston has been mentioned in NBA trade rumors for help in the frontcourt or three point shooters. One of the biggest names that has been thrown around is Kemba Walker. He originally signed in free agency but could be on the move after his struggles with knee issues.
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are off to all-star starts to the season while Walker has missed some time with an injury. This moved certainly shake things up in both conferences and be a blockbuster that we are all looking for.
Let’s take a look and see what it might take to land Walker in Los Angeles at the deadline.
