3 teams who could go all-out for a Nikola Vucevic trade at the deadline

So far this year, the Orlando Magic are a team that has struggled so far this NBA season due to injuries and an overall lack of talent on their roster. They have only had four players play in every single game for them this year, with All-Star center Nikola Vucevic being one of them.

Out of all the centers in the league, Vucevic currently ranks 3rd in scoring, 3rd in three-point shooting percentage, 6th in rebounding, and is 4th in the league in double-doubles. His production on the offensive end of the court makes him one of the better overall centers in the league and as a result, he could be a guy who gets targeted by a lot of playoff-contending teams this NBA trade deadline.

Nikola Vucevic’s value is at an all-time high right now and with him being 30-years old, the Magic could possibly look to trade their star big man away for a massive haul of draft picks and young talent. Right now, the Magic are not an organization who can attract big name free agents and even at full strength, are not really a contender in the Eastern Conference.

Could they make the playoffs at full strength? Most likely, but at the end of the day, what is the point of making the playoffs year-in and year-out if you are just going to lose in the first round?

Trading away Vucevic would definitely be something to think about for the Orlando front-office, especially since they could receive quite a return for a player of his caliber. Here are three teams who should go all-out in attempts to acquire Nikola Vucevic.
