Why This Trade Would Benefit The Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks made a huge splash when they originally acquired Kristaps Porzingis from the New York Knicks. After a couple years, Porzingis is once again struggling with his health. This is something that happened during his time in New York as well.

If the Mavericks decide to go in a different direction, they could get a big return for Kristaps Porzingis. This trade would help them build even further around Luka Doncic. Both Eric Bledsoe and JJ Redick are veteran players who could contribute to the Mavericks right away. They would be short-term options for New Orleans but could help them move toward the postseason.

The Mavericks would also get three first-round picks back in this deal which would help replenish what they gave up for Kristaps Porzongis. Luka Doncic is one of the best players in the game and in early-season MVP candidate. They were definitely benefit the team to build around him.

Mark Cuban is no stranger to making a big-splash deal. He is an owner who will do whatever it takes to win and this trade my point them in the right direction.
