Why This Trade Would Benefit The Los Angeles Lakers

Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis signed contract extensions in the offseason. This means the Lakers will have a chance to become the next great dynasty in the league. They are coming off a championship in the NBA Bubble and look primed to win another this year.

Teams around the league have begun improving in hopes of catching the Lakers. James Harden went to the Brooklyn Nets while both Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers may lose in hopes of contending for a title.

This deal may not have too much impact but it would give the Lakers a potential star down the road. If you are Bamba, there were a few players better to learn from than LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Also, imagine the length near the basket with Bamba’s 7-foot-10 wingspan next to Davis…it would be an intriguing intangible to take a chance on.

As long as the dynamic duo is around, the front office will try to put intriguing players around them. This is a trade that would accomplish just that.
