2. Bradley Beal Gets Traded

Remember earlier when I said that things couldn’t get much worse for the Wizards? Well Bradley Beal getting traded will definitely send Wizards fans to a bar for a couple of drinks!

The one thing Bradley Beal said this past offseason that he wanted to do with the Wizards was to win. Well, they currently are in a battle for the worst record in the league and if they continue to struggle and be one of the worst teams in the league through March, he could absolutely look to get traded immediately.

Plenty of teams have inquired about Beal throughout last offseason and throughout the year this season, but the Wizards have been unwilling to trade their superstar guard. They may not want to trade him, but if he wants out, they will have to grant him his wish.

Bradley Beal getting traded could absolutely shake up the league depending on where he would end up. The Warriors, Heat, Celtics and Mavericks are just a few of the big name teams that have expressed interest in acquiring the All-Star caliber guard and if any of those four teams were to land him, it would surely shake things up in either conference.

1. Brooklyn Nets & Los Angeles Lakers Make NBA Finals

And finally, our final prediction for the 2020-21 NBA season is that Brooklyn will take on Los Angeles in the 2021 NBA Finals. This should not come as a surprise to many as both the Nets and the Lakers are the two favorites to win the title this season and face off against one another.

LeBron James is 36 years old now and is still playing at an insanely high level and with Anthoyn Davis, Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell by his side, it will be hard to take down the defending champions.

However, James and the Lakers will have a tough task if they go up against the Nets in a 7-game series because of the Nets’ “Big 3” in KD, Kyrie and Harden.

Head-to-Head all-time, LeBron is 20-15 against Kevin Durant led teams, but in the playoffs, Durant is 9-5 against James. A 7-game series for the rights to lift the Larry O’Brien Trophy between the Nets and the Lakers would be a fantastic series and as things stand right now, NBA fans should expect to see these two teams fight it out this summer.
