Why This Trade Would Benefit The Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have been near the bottom of the conference with these big-name players. The front office could choose to go in a different direction. They did so in the offseason when they brought Billy Donovan in to be the head coach. Now, it is about building a winning culture on the floor.

This happens by adding young players in the draft. Coby White and Wendell Carter Jr. are two names that look like they could have long careers in Chicago. The Bulls should attempt to put the right players around them.

If that means trading LaVine for draft capital, then so be it. He will land a huge return. The Knicks have draft picks to send Chicago from deals involving Kristaps Porzingis and Marcus Morris. The Bulls need draft capital to continue building the roster.

Chicago is looking to get back to relevance sooner than later. They can do this by sending away some players for a huge return. LaVine and Markannen immediately come to mind.
