Terry Rozier

This would be a very interesting and intriguing trade target for the Los Angeles Clippers because it is really unknown what kind of price tag Terry Rozier has on him on the trade market. He has been great at times this year, but at other times, seems to struggle with the Hornets.

Given that they just drafted LaMelo Ball to be their point guard of the future and the fact that Devonte’ Graham had a breakout season last year and is continuing to succeed this year, Terry Rozier’s future in Charlotte is very much up-in-the-air. Much like George Hill though, Rozier is owed a lot of money over the next two years and given the Clippers salary space, it would be hard for them to bring him in.

Los Angeles would have to trade back almost $18M in salaries to the Hornets in order to land Rozier and his big contract, but it may be worth it for the Clippers. Not only is he an extremely agile and athletic guard, but Terry Rozier could join this team and be that reliable third scoring option they so desperately need next to Leonard and George.

Statistically speaking, Rozier is having his best year of his career shooting and scoring the basketball. He is shooting close to 46% from the floor and about 42% from deep, not to mention, he is averaging about 18.5 points per game.

It makes total sense for the Clippers to want and acquire a talented, young guard like Terry Rozier and given his winning mentality, he could be an extremely useful asset next to Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Los Angeles is in a position to win now and they need to bring in as much talent as they can, which is why pulling the trigger on a trade to land the talented Rozier makes a lot of sense for the Clippers.
