Washington Wizards Receive: Ben Simmons

The Philadelphia 76ers would shake up their roster and fully commit to building a cohesive roster around Joel Embiid. It would start by finding Embiid a more formidable perimeter scoring star in Bradley Beal.

Ben Simmons provides substantial value on the basketball court but when playing alongside a dynamic center like Joel Embiid, there are limitations to what can be achieved. Bradley Beal’s all-around scoring impact would help reconfigure their half-court offense.

For the Wizards, they would create a backcourt of Ben Simmons and Russell Westbrook. While both players would probably be a horrible fit together, Simmons would be the complete focus long-term. There’s plenty of work to be done in Washington and this could be the first of many moves over the years.
