Charlotte Hornets Receive: LaMarcus Aldridge

San Antonio Spurs Receive: Malik Monk, Bismack Biyombo, Cody Zeller, 2021 1st Round Pick

LaMarcus Aldridge is the type of name the Charlotte Hornets could use down low. He would continue to balance out the offense and do so well. He’s a winning player who knows how to lead and that is what the Hornets are looking for.

This would not be an extremely expensive trade for Charlotte. Even though Aldridge is on an expiring contract, the Hornets would be sending filler players to make the financial aspect work while compensating with a first-round pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

In return, the San Antonio Spurs would get Malik Monk back to pair with Murray in the backcourt. This will give them a core to build around for the future. Bismack Biyombo and Cody Zeller are replacements in the frontcourt for the Spurs over the next couple of years.
