Why This Trade Would Benefit The Miami Heat
The Eastern Conference has become much more difficult with both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets improving during the offseason. Miami has been linked to many big-name players next year but they could choose to make a move prior to the NBA trade deadline. This deal with the Pelicans would help them right away.
If the Miami Heat believes they are a championship-caliber team, they know they will have to improve in some areas. Pat Riley is a basketball mind who knows how to build a winning team. He has done this for many years with the Heat.
Redick would fit alongside stars like Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo in with the Heat because of his ability to choose from deep in his postseason experience. Also in the trade, that he would be able to dump some veteran players who are holding up some space.
Miami already has a strong duo in Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Robinson and Tyler Herro are role players who will be around for years to come. The Heat already have a nice core and good luck to improve on it prior to the deadline.
