Patrick Beverley has been forced to step into the starting roll for the Clippers. He is a player who would benefit from coming off the bench and being a spark. This is why he would be going to Minnesota, along with Terrence Mann.

The Clippers would get a veteran point guard who could start right away in Ricky Rubio. He is an excellent passer and someone who would help the dynamic of their offense even further.
