The Los Angeles Clippers came into the NBA regular season looking for a better finish than they had last year. The Clippers were knocked out of the postseason prior to the Western Conference Finals which was a disappointment given their moves are in the offseason now. This year, they are off to one of the best starts in the league.
Kawhi Leonard score in 24.9 points per contest while Paul George is scoring 24.4. They were one of the top two duos in the league early on and this has led them to an 11-4 start. This is the team that everyone expected to see. Los Angeles added Serge Ibaka in free agency and he has been effective on both ends on the floor. Despite their improvement, Los Angeles still lacks some depth at the point guard position.
The Minnesota Timberwolves team that could help out the Clippers with a trade. They are currently near the bottom of the Western Conference because of their lack of cohesion. Karl-Anthony Towns has missed time this season while D’Angelo Russell leads the team in scoring.
Anthony Edwards, who was the first pick in the draft, is looking like the real deal for the future. This could lead Minnesota to make a move to send a veteran point guard to Los Angeles.
