Why This Trade Would Benefit The Philadelphia 76ers

This is the best team we have seen in Philadelphia in quite some time. It is even better than the team that featured Jimmy Butler a couple of years back. The 76ers have not been able to take that next step in the playoffs but this could be the year that they finally reach the Eastern Conference Finals, and maybe beyond.

During the beginning of the season, Joel Embiid has really taken over this team. He is playing well on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Embiid has been unstoppable and he’s showing his ability to be a big-game finisher. Harris’ breakout is the real reason why trading Ben Simmons as possible.

He has one of the most undesirable contracts in the NBA but it looks better when he plays like he has been. Zach LaVine has the ability to score at all three levels and is an incredible athlete. This will be a welcome addition for a team looking to take the next step.

Philadelphia has a new head coach in Doc Rivers and new leader ship in the front office with Daryl Morey. If they are looking to make a splash, this could be it.
