This Kings-Sixers trade forms a Ben Simmons, De’Aaron Fox duo

There are a lot of questions that need to be answered before a deal such as this one is made. The Sacramento Kings and Philadelphia 76ers are in two different spots this season but a blockbuster deal could get them both near the top of their conferences.

That is a place that Philadelphia is already near. Darryl Morey came in and made some key additions to the roster during the offseason. This includes adding Seth Curry and Danny Green on the perimeter to give the team a present beyond the three-point line.

Joel Embiid is playing at an MVP level while Tobias Harris is finally beginning to earn his money. Ben Simmons is off to a decent start but he’s not scoring effectively just yet.

As for the Kings, they have determined their franchise player in De’Aaron Fox and will look to build around him. Buddy Hield is still on the team despite many trade rumors throughout the offseason. Sacramento has been rebuilding for quite some time now and could speed things up if they were to make a blockbuster deal. This trade would land them another player to pair with Fox in the backcourt.

It would certainly be shocking to see the Sixers trade Simmons. They made it clear that they did not want to make a deal such as this one but anything is possible. Here is what it might take to land Simmons in Sacramento.
