It has been a somewhat disappointing start to the 2020-21 NBA season for Trae Young. While he is posting averages of 24.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 9.0, he is struggling to get the job done with much efficiency. Regardless, he is still one of the NBA’s top ascending players.

This is not a trade that would be easy to pull off for both sides. If Trae Young is sent to the Boston Celtics, he would not be by himself. Players like Clint Capela and Tony Snell would join him. The Celtics would also get two first-round picks in the deal.

The return for the Atlanta Hawks would be huge. It begins with Kemba Walker taking over as the franchise point guard. Daniel Theis would improve the frontcourt and four first-round picks, along with a swap, would help the Hawks continue their rebuild.
