Terrence Ross

Not only is he one of the better bench scorers in the entire league, but Terrence Ross has consistently proven to be a great weapon who is in the prime of his career. A lot of people tend to think Terrence Ross is a veteran, older player, but Ross is only 29-years old and still has plenty of years left in his career!

Ross is now in his 9th season in the NBA and over the last two years in Orlando, he has turned himself into one of the best bench players in the entire league. In that timespan, Ross has averaged 14.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.0 steals and has shot 35.5% from three-point range off-the-bench.

This season, Terrence Ross currently ranks second in the league in most points by a player off the bench and is very much in the running early on for Sixth-Man of the Year. Ross could be the high-impact, experienced leader this young Cavs team needs and given his natural scoring abilities, could help elevate their offense as well.

Right now, the Cavaliers have the worst bench in the NBA in terms of overall production, as they currently rank last in total bench points per game. As a result, they are the 29th best offensive team in the league in terms of points per game and need another playmaker outside of Collin Sexton.

Terrence Ross could be this secondary, experienced scorer for the Cleveland Cavaliers and they would not have to trade too much to get him. They could probably get away with trading two role players like Cedi Osman and JaVale McGee, along with some draft picks for Ross.

Bench scoring is extremely important in the NBA and with Collin Sexton being this team’s only reliable offensive weapon outside of their frontcourt, adding Ross could go a long way. He knows what it takes to win in this league and with a young core to play with, Ross could end up being a great leader for the Cavaliers moving forward.
