This Blazers-Warriors trade features Draymond Green to Portland

The Golden State Warriors have been involved in NBA trade rumors for the last few weeks involving a perimeter threat. In this deal, they would be flipping one of their top players to the Portland Trail Blazers for a big return. It would be interesting to see the Warriors part ways with Draymond Green.

After a slow start, Golden State is back to playing basketball at a high-level. Steph Curry is looking like his old self and dominating from three-point range once again. There was some growing pains early in the year without Klay Thompson.

Green also missed the beginning of the season with an injury but has been playing well recently. This is a deal that’s unlike the ones we have seen floating around in the universe. Portland could go big and look for another star in the lineup.

Both Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are still in Portland. The duo has been unable to take the Blazers to where they want to be in recent years. They were the eight seed in the postseason last year and were taken out in five games by the Los Angeles Lakers.

The talks in Portland were whether or not Lillard would be sent away for a huge return. The franchise could choose to go and completely different direction and add a third to their duo.

This deal would certainly shock the Western Conference. Let’s take a look at what it would take to land Green in Portland.
