The Lakers do not need that other star to win another title. They are already one of the top teams in the NBA and solidified that by adding players like Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell in the offseason.
Recently, there was an intriguing prospect put on a trading block. Kevin Porter Jr. is that prospect who has made a decent career for himself in Cleveland. After an incident in the locker room, the Cavaliers could be looking to trade Porter Jr.
Cleveland acquired Taurean Prince in a trade and this sent Porter Jr. off. He got into it with team officials and the rumor is that Cleveland is likely to either trade or release the young player.
