4 reasons the Durant-Harden-Irving trio will work out perfectly

Last week, we saw one of the biggest trades in NBA history executed as James Harden is now a member of the Brooklyn Nets, joining fellow All-Stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Not only is this significant news because Harden is a former NBA MVP but because of the superstar trio this trade created in Brooklyn.

When this team is at full strength, they will be virtually impossible to stop on the offensive end of the court because KD and Harden are both former scoring champions and Kyrie Irving can explode for 30+ points on any given night.

There are questions about the chemistry about this group and if they will succeed, and we will dive into that in a little bit, but just look at what James Harden did in his debut with the Nets. Harden became the first NBA player to record a 30-point triple-double in his team debut and led the team with 14 assists.

If all of these guys are willing to adjust their roles for the better good of the team, then this trio can be extremely successful and live up to their “title or bust” philosophy. With three of the best players in the NBA together on one team, the Brooklyn Nets are undoubtedly one of the favorites to win the 2021 NBA Finals and will be all season long.

The big question that remains is if this trio will work out. Let’s take a look at four reasons why this new Brooklyn Nets trio will be successful and work out perfectly.
