Why This Trade Would Benefit The Houston Rockets

We are going to see a new style of basketball from the Houston Rockets for the first time in many years. Without James Harden, the team could look to play differently on the floor. This will be interesting to see under first-year head coach Stephen Silas.

The new-look front office vowed to make differences right away. They certainly did that by trading both Russell Westbrook and Harden. They signed Christian Wood in free agency during the offseason which is looking like a homerun signing. John Wall is playing at a high-level which will help Houston moving forward.

They have other trade pieces as well in PJ Tucker and Eric Gordon that they could look to send away prior to the deadline. Trading Victor Oladipo would just continue the rebuild and land them some more assets for the future.

The Rockets wasted no time in rebuilding and it has been exciting to watch the whole way through. It will be interesting to see how they continue to finish off their retool of the roster.
