Why This Trade Would Benefits The Boston Celtics
Andre Drummond entered the NBA at such a young age that feels like he has been around forever. At 27-years old, he still has some of his best ball ahead of him and we are seeing that this season. Drummond continues to be one of the top rebounders and post players in the game.
So far this season, Drummond is averaging 18 points and 15.1 rebounds per game. He is a double double machine and has logged one in all 11 games this season. This is exactly what the Celtics need down low.
They need a big who is able to compete with some of the other bigs on both ends of the floor. Players like Bam Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo come to mind immediately.
The Celtics are extremely strong in the backcourt but have not been able to balance out their roster. There should be a priority for them as we near the trade deadline since they were unable to do so during the offseason.
