Los Angeles Lakers Receive: Denzel Valentine, 2021 2nd Round Pick
Chicago Bulls Receive: Talen Horton-Tucker, Jared Dudley
The Los Angeles Lakers have been a bit inconsistent around the three-point line and it begins with Kyle Kuzma. If they are looking to make improvements, Denzel Valentine is an intriguing name to keep an eye on. He is one of the many trade pieces the Chicago Bulls have that they could send away for a return.
Valentine is on an expiring deal and is averaging 7.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 39.4% from deep, so far this season. He doesn’t put up big numbers and doesn’t have a ton of trade value, but he’s still a helpful player the Lakers would benefit from adding.
This trade scenario would be permitted to happen until Feb. 19, 2021, since there need to be three months since Denzel Valentine signed with the Bulls. That would be well before the NBA trade deadline.
Let’s take a closer look and see how this trade would benefit both sides in the immediate future.
